The company will be offering the potential candidate the ACCA Level 7 qualification, practical accounts training. The level 7 ACCA Accounting Apprenticeship consists of the final 10 modules of the ACCA qualification, which is made up of both the professional and advanced levels. After the full completion of the ACCA qualification individuals can apply for the certified chartered accountant status.
The job role would consist of the following:
- Bookkeeping and Payroll
- Arranging client meetings
- VAT Returns
- Accounting assistant certificate
- Assisting with tax computations, both personal and corporate
- Liaising with HMRC
- Assisting Semi-Senior Accountants and Senior Accountants
- Involvement in management accounting in the management of client files
- Involved with tax advisory and planning
- Assisting with management and control tasks
- Assisting with strategic and business development tasks
- Scan, file and log accounting documents
- Enter data, maintain records and lunch reports and financial statements
- Process accounts receivable/payable and handles payroll in a timely manner
- Taking telephone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate or directing them to the appropriate staff members.
- Performs the distribution of wages through the issuance of paper checks or direct transfers to employees’ bank accounts
