We are seeing to recruit a qualified Fund Accountant, including alternative investment funds practice for a growing fund administration business. The strong applicant inclination be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with at least 3-5 years PQE also possess sound technical accounting, leadership including communication skills. This role is responsible for all perspectives of fund administration and accounting, including the review of specific accounting information relating to documents of alternative investment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain net asset value calculations, cash records, revenue projections, other industry results, accordance with the laid down business policies and procedures and within the required timeframe.
- Administer alternative investment funds, accounting also income information for a collection of clients.
- Management accounts also accompanying programs as relevant, following documented business policies and procedures and within the required timeframe.
- Understanding, all fund administration activities including corporate actions, fund structures and resulting accounting entries.
- Prepare/review half-year including full-year accounts concurrently including related information.
- Frequent client company board and management meetings as needed.
- Effective implementation of onboarding new business more funds money.
- Regularly review Service Level Agreements and update as appropriate.
- Get the lead with client and auditor dealing with all questions and escalate as appropriate.
- Actively supervise and mentor staff under supervision, including 1to1’s and staff appraisals.
Essentials Qualification
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Knowledge of UK GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS as applied to the alternative investment funds industry
- Extensive fund accounting experience
- Secure communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrably regular and highly organised with a proven ability to reach deadlines
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
