Full-time Bookkeeper/Purchase Ledger Clerk 32 views

Immediately available Bookkeeper is urgently required by this established Construction Company on a permanent placement. Working as part of a busy accounts team and reporting to the Finance Manager

Your duties will include:

  • General accounting work using Sage Line 50 and Eque2 construction
  • All aspects of the purchase ledger function
  • Dealing with supplier / subcontractor queries
  • Reconciling sage supplier ledgers
  • Reconciling bank and credit card accounts
  • Credit Control
  • Process payments of invoices
  • VAT and CIS returns
  • General Admin duties

The ideal candidate should have:

  •  A good level of education
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Previous accounts/bookkeeping experience
  • Qualified or working towards AAT, CAT or ICB
  • Experience with Sage Line 50
  • Experience within a construction industry an advantage
  • Fast and accurate inputting skills and strong attention to detail
  • Immediately available

Remuneration Package

  • Salary: £23,000 – £28,000 per annum pro rata
  • Monday – Friday – 9am – 5pm, the possibility of flexible working hours.
  • 4 weeks holiday plus bank holidays
  • Pension contributions
  • Parking on-site
