Location – London, Hertfordshire
Salary – £19,000
Tenure – 6 MONTHS FIXED
Job purpose
- To support the existing accounts payable team in the data collection and input of supplier information via both electronic and manual systems;
- To free up the time of the company accountant to be more involved in management accounting and analysis of data;
Duties and responsibilities
- Inputting Invoices and Credit notes on SAP System
- Checking invoices against purchase orders
- Scanning invoices into the system
- Resolving purchase ledger queries with suppliers/departments
- Checking and inputting staff expenses
- Liaising with the business to ensure invoices have been approved
- Run and raise payment runs for GBP, EUR and Dollars accounts
- Supplier statement reconciliations,
- Opening and sorting of post
- Inter-company reconciliation
- The first point of contact for suppliers
- General office administration
Working conditions
- 5s standard
- Working within an office-based environment
- 38.00 hours per week
- May require some flexibility in days worked around month-end and year-end reporting requirements
- Involves liaising with employees in both an office and production-based environment

Education and qualifications
- GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English
Experience and Knowledge
- Experience of working in an accounts department
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as excel, outlook and word
- Knowledge of SAP – not essential
- Accounting assistant certificate
- Experience of working within a team
- Able to deal with suppliers
- Accounts payable training course
