Accounts & Payroll Officer – Sage 50

The Role:

Owing to expansion of our accounts division, a highly experienced Sage 50 Accounts person is required to join an existing accounts team within our group of businesses comprising 3 companies with circa 50 employees, the role will be based at our main offices in Blackheath Village, South East London (15 minutes from London Bridge).

You will be passionate about accounts and payroll with an exceptional attention to detail and have effective and clear communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.

The ideal candidate will have strong commercial experience with Sage, meaning you will be able to pick up the core job duties involved in this role with ease including current processes.

Our group of businesses are swift and dynamic in nature and we require someone who is willing to go the extra mile when required.

In addition to having extensive overall experience in accounts and specifically within Sage accounts and payroll, key skills will include:

·Running Sage 50 payroll for 3 companies

·Managing and reconciling Accounts for 3 companies using Sage Line 50 Accounts

·Bank Reconciliations

·Daily payments to external PSC’s

·Credit Control

·Supplier/Customer Invoicing

·Invoicing in and out daily

·Preparing Monthly Management Accounts/WIPS

·Monthly Expenses

·Month End and year end journals

·Petty Cash

·Credit Card Expenses



·Nat West Bankline

·RBS Fac Flow

·Experience of Sales Finance/Confidential Invoice Discounting Facility

·Problem solving with the ability to work on own initiative
